MASSIVE PHOTO UPDATE!.... My twin sister Lydia got married on Nov. 11th 2006 in San Antonio, Texas. I know many of you have been anticipating an update, so I apologize deeply for my lateness! Thanks to everyone who have been praying for me, my family, etc. By His Grace, everything went a LOT smoothly then expected. :) And of course, I was my twinkie's Maid of Honor... which is no piece of cake, by the way... and I also sang at the wedding, which I hoped I wouldn't cry, but did a LOT of... so anyway, without further delay... Here goes!.......ENJOY! Day 1: Arrive at San Antonio, Texas My Dad's birthday celebration at Bennigan's Restaurant...unfortunately, I was very pooped since I didn't get much sleep prior to this trip... anticipating the wedding, and seeing my Dad for the first time in TWO YEARS!! But all in all, it was a great reunion :)

my VERY interesting brother-in-law, Gino! Day 2: Spa Day Bridal Shower/ Rehearsal Dinner
Katie, the wonderful chauffeur and bridesmaid who drove her mini-van from Houston to take us everywhere..man, this girl shoulda taken my place as the maid of honor :P
Our FUEL for the long day ahead :)
The bride-to-be enjoying her spa treatment
The third bridesmaid, Katherine... enjoying her pampering as well! *So, the bridesmaids decided to throw the bride a little quick "bridal shower/ retreat" at a nicer, more private hotel just for ourselves and the bride so that we could kind of have our own little get-away from the rest of the out-of-town guests (who were ALL staying at the same hotel) and get some good beauty rest before the dress rehearsal and of course, the big day. So here was where we retreated off to... seemed more like a condo home then a hotel... it was nice!
Dress Rehearsal was actually at the ceremony site, which also provided the reception area as well.... it had a very Old Spanish feel to the entire place. It was beautiful! And the rehearsal went smoothly since it was ran by my awesome, dictator sister :) hehe.
Rehearsal Dinner: At good ol' Rudy's BBQ: One of Texas's BEST barbeque joints! The creamed corn there is TO DIE FOR!!! ENJOY!
This Blue Bell Ice Cream is THE BEST ice cream EVER!!! And you can't find it in California!!! BAHHH!!!! :) hehe...man, I MISS THIS :( If someone can get it for me to Cali, I'd be forever grateful! Day 3: THE BIG DAY!! Well, we got started early by taking the bride and the mothers to go get dolled up... My dear friend and fellow bridesmaid, Katherine, did the bridesmaids hair.. for FREE! :) Thanks Kato!
The back of Kato's half up-half down hair-do..
Yes, this is MY head :) hehe. Kudos to Kato!! *Then we arrived at Comfort Cloisters, the ceremony site, and prepped more to doll ourselves up for MASSIVE pictures and trying to act natural for the professional video :P

*Time for the ceremony: my dear family friend Tim Kang took the pictures for the ceremony since I was "on stage" during this part. Thanks Tim, and good job!

*this slideshow of my sister and I really brought back good memories :) *tear* And the pictures below are of my sister dancing with my Dad during the father-daughter dance, where as I was taking the picture I ALSO was CRYING LIKE A BABY!!! The DJ was playing "Butterfly Kisses," okay? :P EVERYONE was crying! hehe!

*Then they had this thing called the "dollar dance" where people had to pay the best man or maid of honor a dollar to dance with either the bride or groom, and stick the money in their clothes... but some people ended up paying up to $100 bucks!!! :D Good fundraiser idea for those of you future brides/grooms to be!
